Remove the shielding

  • Unwrap the shielding a bit and nick it at the base with some electronics side cutters.

  • If you will wire this cable in a terminal block instead of a Keystone or crimping on a connector, you should just remove the minimum amount of shielding needed to properly punch down the connection.

  • Make sure to not damage the delicate insulation of the individual wires.

  • Rip off the shielding.

  • Repeat for all four twisted pairs.

Retirar el blindaje

Desenvuelve un poco el blindaje y córtalo en la base con algunos cortadores laterales electrónicos.

Si vas a cablear este cable en un bloque de terminales en lugar de un Keystone o engarzar un conector, solo debes quitar la cantidad mínima de blindaje necesario para perforar correctamente la conexión.

Asegúrate de no dañar el delicado aislamiento de los cables individuales.

Quita el blindaje.

Repite para los cuatro pares trenzados.
