  • Like with the heat sink, use a coffee filter or a lint-free cloth and a couple drops of >90% isopropyl alcohol to clean the remaining thermal paste residue off the processor surface.

  • You can alternatively use a dedicated cleaning agent such as Arctic's ArctiClean or isopropyl alcohol swaps or wipes for the processor as well.

  • Once the surface is mostly clean, use another, fresh piece of coffee filter or lint-free cloth with more IPA to further remove any oils or extra residue.

  • Avoid touching the processor during this procedure. Small dust particles or oils from fingerprints can reduce the effectiveness of the thermal paste application or otherwise harm your chip.

  • Allow the processor to dry completely.

Come per il dissipatore, usa un filtro per caffè o un panno senza pelucchi con qualche goccia di alcool isopropilico con concentrazione superiore al 90% per pulire il residuo rimanente di pasta termica dalla superficie del processore.

Puoi anche utilizzare un agente detergente dedicato come ArctiClean della Arctic oppure salviette o tamponi imbevuti di alcool isopropilico per pulire il processore.

Una volta che la superficie è per lo più pulita, usa un altro pezzo di filtro per caffè o di panno senza pelucchi con più alcool isopropilico per rimuovere ulteriormente eventuali oli o residui in eccesso.

Durante questa procedura, evita di toccare il processore. Piccole particelle di polvere o oli dalle impronte digitali possono ridurre l'efficacia dell'applicazione della pasta termica o danneggiare il chip.

Lascia che il processore si asciughi completamente.
