Remove the plastic 3-way (OPV) valve

  • Pull the clear tube out of the top of the coffee maker.

  • Locate the white plastic 3-way valve at the rear top of the machine. This is the Over Pressure Valve, and controls the pressure of the water flowing into the boiler through a simple spring mechanism. The excess water is returned to the reservoir via the clear plastic tube.

  • Pull the clip out of the valve that attaches a small tube to the boiler. You'll see that the clip traps a brass collar around the tube into the valve. Pull the tube clear.

  • Rotate the valve anti-clockwise to unscrew it from the pump. It can be a bit difficult to move.

Quita la válvula de plástico de 3 vías (OPV)

Saca el tubo transparente de la parte superior de la cafetera.

Ubica la válvula de plástico blanca de 3 vías en la parte superior trasera de la máquina. Esta es la válvula de sobrepresión y controla la presión del agua que fluye hacia la caldera a través de un mecanismo de resorte simple. El exceso de agua regresa al depósito a través del tubo de plástico transparente.

Saca el clip de la válvula que une un tubo pequeño a la caldera. Verás que el clip atrapa un collar de latón alrededor del tubo dentro de la válvula. Saca el tubo.

Gira la válvula en sentido antihorario para desenroscarla de la bomba. Puede ser un poco difícil de mover.
