Screen heating and lifting

  • check if the screen has deep scratches at the edge of the glass (especially when the screen is original). When heated and stressed, the glass will break at this exact place. So avoid mechanical action in these areas, if any.

  • lift the screen with the suction cup in the upper left corner (mechanically this connection is the weakest). Remember that the screen is a set of glass and a slightly deeper matrix. Do not push anything under the surface of the glass, it may damage the screen. If, the reasonable limit is 5mm maximum.

  • under the edge of the matrix (not a glass - it's important) slide a guitar pick or other flat tool (like an invalid credit card).

  • repeat action for the entire left edge of the tablet. In my case, three matrix support points were enough.

Display erwärmen und ablösen

Prüfe, ob das Display tiefe Kratzer am Rand des Glases aufweist (vor allem, wenn es das Original-Display ist). Wenn das Glas erhitzt und belastet wird, bricht es genau an dieser Stelle. Vermeide daher mechanische Einwirkungen in diesen Bereichen, falls vorhanden.

Hebe das Display mit dem Saugheber in der oberen linken Ecke an (hier ist die Verbindung am schwächsten). Denk daran, dass das Display aus einer Glasplatte und einer etwas tieferen Matrix besteht. Schiebe nichts unter das Glas, es könnte sonst das Display beschädigen. Wenn, dann maximal 5 mm.

Schiebe ein Plektrum oder ein anderes flaches Werkzeug (wie eine ungültige Kreditkarte) unter den Rand der Matrix (kein Glas - das ist wichtig).

Wiederhole den Vorgang für den gesamten linken Rand des Tablets. In meinem Fall waren drei Matrix-Stützpunkte ausreichend.
