Remove the display assembly

  • Keep a firm grip on both the display and main body of the MacBook. Either half can fall unexpectedly during this step.

  • Push both halves of the MacBook together so that the hinge brackets can be lifted clear of their recesses in the chassis.

  • Push the main body of the MacBook away from you while pulling the display toward you to separate it.

  • Remove the display assembly, being careful not to snag it on any cables.

  • During reassembly:

  • Install the hinge screws loosely and adjust the display until each hinge is centered. Finally, tighten down the screws.

  • If your display clicks or snaps when opening or closing, loosen the hinge screws and adjust the alignment. Make sure the display assembly doesn't sit too far forward, or it can catch on the chassis edge when opening and closing.

Displayeinheit entfernen

Halte sowohl das Gerät als auch das Display bei diesem Schritt gut fest. Beide Teile können plötzlich hinfallen.

Drücke beide Teile des MacBooks zusammen, so dass die Halterungen der Scharniere aus ihren Vertiefungen im Rahmen herausgehoben werden können.

Drücke das Hauptgerät des MacBooks von dir weg und ziehe das Display gleichzeitig zu dir hin, so dass sich die Teile trennen.

Entferne die Displayeinheit, achte darauf, dass sich kein Kabel verfängt.

Beim Zusammenbau:

Baue die Scharniere löse ein und richte das Display so aus, dass die Scharniere in der Mitte sind. Ziehe dann die Schrauben fest.

Wenn das Display beim Öffnen/Schließen klickt oder knackt, dann löse die Scharnierschrauben und korrigiere seinen Sitz. Achte darauf, dass das Display nicht zu weit vorne ist, es könnte sonst beim Öffnen oder Schließen an der Kante des Rahmens schaben.
