Disable the Eject button

  • If you look at the Eject button on the cover you just removed you will see that on the back side of the button is a metal plate.

  • This plate transfers capacitance to a circuit board on the PS4. You will see it ends with a little curled piece.

  • If you look at the PS4, where the curled piece would meet the PS4 (were it attached) there is a little square pad (like 4mmx4mm) on a circuit board.

  • This square pad is what we need to cover with a little piece of electrical tape to insulate the transfer of capacitance from the metal plate and disable the button.

  • Cut a little square of electrical tape and cover the square pad with it.

Deaktivierung der Auswurftaste

Wenn du dir die Auswurftaste auf der Abdeckung ansiehst, die du gerade entfernt hast, wirst du feststellen, dass sich auf der Rückseite der Taste eine Metallplatte befindet.

Diese Platte überträgt die Kapazität an eine Platine auf der PS4. Du wirst sehen, dass sie mit einem kleinen gewellte Stück endet.

Wenn man sich die PS4 anschaut, befindet sich dort, wo das gewellte Teil auf die PS4 treffen würde (wenn es angebracht wäre), eine kleine quadratische Fläche (etwa 4mmx4mm) auf einer Leiterplatte.

Diese quadratische Fläche müssen wir mit einem kleinen Stück Isolierband abdecken, um die Kapazitätsübertragung von der Metallplatte zu isolieren und die Taste zu deaktivieren.

Schneide ein kleines Quadrat aus Isolierband aus und bedecke damit die quadratische Fläche.
