Removing the bottom cover

  • The Eject button is attached to the bottom cover.

  • To remove the bottom cover, you will need to remove the three T8 Torx screws securing the bottom cover on the back of the PS4. These three screws are covered by black stickers from the factory. You will need to remove the three black stickers on the bottom of the back of the PS4 to remove the three screws underneath them.

  • Note: using thin metal tools to remove the stickers can gouge the plastic a bit. I used thin metal tools and gouged the plastic a bit. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

  • Once the three screws are removed, pop the bottom cover off the PS4 by separating the back side of the cover (where the screws were) from the PS4 and then sliding it off the front of the PS4.

Entfernen der unteren Abdeckung

Die Auswurftaste ist an der unteren Abdeckung angebracht.

Um die untere Abdeckung zu entfernen, musst du die drei Torx T8 Schrauben entfernen, mit denen die untere Abdeckung auf der Rückseite der PS4 befestigt ist. Diese drei Schrauben sind durch schwarze Aufkleber abgedeckt. du musst die drei schwarzen Aufkleber auf der Unterseite der PS4-Rückseite entfernen, um die drei Schrauben darunter zu entfernen.

Die Verwendung von dünnen Metallwerkzeugen zum Entfernen der Aufkleber kann das Plastik ein wenig aushöhlen. Ich habe dünne Metallwerkzeuge verwendet und das Plastik ein wenig eingekerbt. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Sobald die drei Schrauben entfernt sind, kannst du die untere Abdeckung von der PS4 abnehmen, indem du die Rückseite der Abdeckung (wo sich die Schrauben befinden) von der PS4 trennst und sie dann von der Vorderseite der PS4 abziehst.
