Set the multimeter to continuity test mode

  • Unplug the power cord from the device and from the AC outlet. Failure to do so can result in electrical shock or death.

  • Set the multimeter to continuity test mode.

  • The setting is symbolized by a diode or sound wave symbol as seen in the pictures. If the meter is set to the correct mode, you should hear the meter beep when the leads are touched together.

  • Verify that the positive lead is plugged to the voltmeter/ ohmmeter outlet.

Zet de multimeter in de continuïteitstest modus

Haal de stekker uit het apparaat en uit het stopcontact. Als u dit niet doet, kan dit leiden tot een elektrische schok of de dood.

Zet de multimeter in de continuïteitstest stand.

De instelling wordt gesymboliseerd door een diode of geluidsgolfsymbool, zoals te zien op de foto's. Als de meter op de juiste stand is ingesteld, zou je de meter moeten horen piepen wanneer de draden tegen elkaar worden gehouden.

Controleer of de positieve (rode) kabel is aangesloten op de volt-/ohmmeter rechtsonderin de multimeter.
