  • Model 9 has a separate LCD display and digitizer.

  • when selecting a replacement digitizer, check that there is an adhesive applied. If not, one extra sheet will be needed.

  • because of the finely broken glass, be sure to wear safety glasses (you only have one pair of eyes and they cannot be replaced). Think about protective gloves if you need to.

  • Additionally: cosmetic sticks and some isopropanol (100ml is enough), tweezers (pincetce), a PH00 star screwdriver, a piece of thin plastic to disconnect the battery pins and a soft guitar pick - it will be perfect.

  • Small plastic blade will come in handy. The piece of plastic I wrote about above must be really thin but quite stiff. You can use a piece of neatly cut paper from a school notebook (non-conductive).

Einige Werkzeuge und Ersatzteile

Beim Modell 9 sind das LCD-Display und der Touchscreen zwei separate Teile.

Achte bei der Auswahl eines Ersatz-Touchscreens darauf, dass die Klebestreifen bereits vormontiert sind. Wenn nicht, wird ein zusätzliche Folie benötigt.

Trage wegen der feinen Glasscherben unbedingt eine Schutzbrille (du hast nur ein Paar Augen, sie sind unersetzlich). Denke gegebenenfalls auch an Schutzhandschuhe.

Zusätzlich: Wattestäbchen und etwas Isopropanol (100ml reichen aus), Pinzette, ein PH00-Kreuzschlitzschraubendreher, ein Stück dünnes Plastik, um die Akkupins zu trennen und ein weiches Gitarrenplektrum.

Eine kleine Kunststoffklinge ist ebenfalls ganz hilfreich. Das Stück Kunststoff, das ich oben beschrieben habe, muss sehr dünn, aber ziemlich steif sein. Du kannst auch ein Stück sauber geschnittenes Papier aus einem Schulheft verwenden (nicht leitend).
