Separate the screen from the phone assembly

  • Remove the screen.

  • During reassembly:

  • If you replaced your screen, check the front-facing camera hole and the sensor cutout on your replacement screen, and remove any remaining liners.

  • Check the frame for deformed grounding springs that stick straight up. These spring contacts should rise at a shallow angle. Use your finger to gently bend any deformed springs downward.

  • Remember to reinstall the display cable bracket.

  • This is a good point to test your phone before sealing it up. Temporarily connect your screen, power on your phone, and make sure it works as expected. Before continuing with reassembly, power off your phone and disconnect the screen.

  • Follow this guide if you're using custom-cut adhesives for your device. Otherwise, follow this guide in case you're using a pre-cut adhesive card.

  • If you're installing a new screen, follow this guide to calibrate the fingerprint sensor.

Bij het weer in elkaar zetten van je toestel:

Controleer het gat van de voorste camera en de uitsnede van de sensor in je nieuwe scherm op beschermfolie en verwijder die indien aanwezig.

Vergeet de beugel niet op de schermkabel terug te plaatsen.

Is dit een goed punt om de functies van je telefoon te testen alvorens je je toestel sluit. Sluit je scherm tijdelijk aan, zet je telefoon aan en kijk of alles naar behoren werkt. Schakel je toestel weer uit en koppel het scherm los voordat je verdergaat.
