Loosen the logic board adhesive

Both the logic board and the logic board cable are adhered to the iPad frame.
Apply a heated iOpener to the back of the device where the logic board is located to loosen the adhesive underneath. Apply the iOpener for at least 2 minutes.
A hair dryer, heat gun, or hot plate may also be used, but be careful not to overheat the device.
