Fold over the logic board

  • Lift the logic board slightly and swing it over its flex cable.

  • Do not force this action. If there isn't enough slack, apply more heat to the flex cable to loosen the adhesive.

  • Do not fold the cable sharply and only bend it to avoid cable damage.

  • During reassembly, apply some Tesa tape or double-sided tape to the flex cable to secure it to the iPad frame.

  • Once you swing the logic board completely over its flex cable, you can use a piece of tape to secure the logic board out of the way of the battery.

Logic Board umklappen

Hebe das Logic Board leicht an und klappe es über das Flachbandkabel.

Übe nicht zu viel Kraft aus. Wenn nicht genug Spiel da ist, dann erwärme das Flachbandkabel nochmals, um den Kleber zu lösen.

Knicke das Kabel nicht und biege das Kabel nur soweit, dass es nicht beschädigt werden kann.

Klebe das Flachbandkabel beim Zusammenbau mit Tesaband oder doppelseitigem Klebeband wieder am Rahmen des iPads fest.

Wenn es dir gelungen ist, das Logic Board ganz über das Flachbandkabel zu klappen, kannst du es mit etwas Klebeband befestigen, damit es dem Akku nicht mehr im Weg steht.
