Remove the battery

  • Lift both halves of the battery out of the iPad at the same time.

  • Do not reuse the battery after it has been removed, as doing so is a potential safety hazard. Replace it with a new battery.

  • Remove the old battery adhesive from the frame using tweezers and high-strength (>90%) isopropyl alcohol with a lint-free cloth where needed.

  • If your battery doesn't come with preinstalled adhesive, use Tesa tape to reattach the battery to the rear case.

Akku entfernen

Hebe beide Hälften des Akkus gleichzeitig aus dem iPad heraus.

Verwende den Akku nach dem Ausbau nicht mehr, das ist ein Sicherheitsrisiko. Ersetze ihn durch einen neuen.

Entferne, wo nötig, die Kleberreste am Rahmen mit einer Pinzette und hochkonzentriertem Isopropylakohol (mindestens 90%ig) und einem fusselfreien Tuch.

Wenn keine Klebestreifen am Ersatzakku angebracht sind, dann klebe den Akku mit Tesaband wieder am Rückgehäuse fest.
