Soften the adhesive

  • Position the tip of the heat gun 2–3 inches above the device.

  • The exposure time may change depending on the adhesive, temperature, and the distance between the heat gun and the device.

  • Move the heat gun along the area where the adhesive is located.

  • Always keep the heat gun in motion, and never leave it over one spot for too long—doing so could damage the device.

  • If the adhesive that needs softening is small, still keep the heat gun in motion, moving it around in little circles.

  • Some adhesives require multiple heating and prying cycles in order to loosen. Be patient to get the job done correctly and not quickly.

Verwarm en verzwak de lijm

Plaats de punt van het heteluchtpistool ongeveer 5-7 cm (2-3 inches) boven het apparaat.

De opwarmtijd kan verschillen. Dit hangt af van het soort lijm, de temperatuur en de afstand tussen het heteluchtpistool en het apparaat.

Beweeg het heteluchtpistool over de gebieden waar de lijm zich bevindt.

Houd het heteluchtpistool altijd in beweging en laat het nooit te lang op één plek gericht staan—dit kan het apparaat beschadigen.

Als de hoeveelheid lijm die verzacht moet worden klein is, houd het heteluchtpistool dan ook in beweging en maak kleine cirkels.

Sommige soorten lijm hebben meerdere verwarmings- en wrikcycli nodig om los te komen. Wees geduldig, zodat je de klus goed doet in plaats van snel.
