Apply a suction cup

  • Apply a suction cup to the top left corner of the display by pressing down on it to create suction, as close to the edge as possible.

  • If your screen is badly cracked, covering it with a layer of clear packing tape may allow the suction cup to adhere. Alternatively, very strong tape may be used instead of the suction cup. If all else fails, you can superglue the suction cup to the broken glass.

  • Glass shards can complicate disassembly—or worse, cause injury. If your Steam Deck has a cracked screen, consider wearing safety glasses to protect your eyes from any glass shaken free during the repair.

Applica una ventosa

Applica una ventosa all'angolo in alto a sinistra dello schermo premendola per farle fare presa il più vicino possibile al bordo.

Se il tuo schermo è molto crepato, coprirlo con uno strato di nastro adesivo da pacchi trasparente potrebbe aiutare a far aderire la ventosa. In alternativa, puoi usare nastro adesivo molto forte invece della ventosa. Se niente funziona, puoi incollare con della supercolla la ventosa al vetro rotto.

Le schegge di vetro possono complicare lo smontaggio o, peggio, causare infortuni. Se il tuo Steam Deck ha lo schermo crepato, considera di indossare occhiali di sicurezza per proteggere gli occhi da eventuali frammenti di vetro che potrebbero staccarsi durante la riparazione.
