Install the new graphics card

  • Place the card in the slot, and press down gently until it locks into place.

  • Ensure it’s fitted into the slot correctly and that both sides sit flush. When it’s locked in correctly, the tab on the slot should hold it in place.

  • Secure the new GPU to the slot with the screw(s) that was removed earlier.

  • Reconnect the power cables to the graphics card and power supply.

  • Startup the PC.

  • When the PC starts up for the first time after installing a new graphics card, it will search for the drivers.

  • It’s always worth using the latest drivers to ensure the best functionality and compatibility with the latest games.

  • Once the new GPU is working, it’s advisable to remove any redundant drivers and software used for the old graphics card.

Installeer de nieuwe grafische kaart

Plaats de kaart in de sleuf en druk deze zachtjes aan tot deze vastklikt.

Zorg ervoor dat hij goed in de sleuf zit en dat beide kanten vlak liggen. Als hij goed vastzit, houdt het lipje op de sleuf hem op zijn plaats.

Bevestig de nieuwe GPU aan de sleuf met de schroef/schroeven die je eerder hebt verwijderd.

Sluit de stroomkabels weer aan op de grafische kaart en de voeding.

Start de PC op.

Wanneer de pc voor de eerste keer opstart nadat er een nieuwe grafische kaart is geïnstalleerd, wordt er gezocht naar de drivers.

Het is altijd de moeite waard om de nieuwste drivers te gebruiken om de beste functionaliteit en compatibiliteit met de nieuwste games te garanderen.

Zodra de nieuwe GPU werkt, is het raadzaam om alle overbodige drivers en software van de oude grafische kaart te verwijderen.
