Remove the old graphics card

  • Power off the PC, and disconnect the power cable from the tower.

  • Open the side panel on the PC.

  • Some panels have clips that are easy to unlatch, and others have screws that need loosening. Only the panel that gives access to the components needs removing.

  • Remove the screw(s) holding the graphics card into the slot.

  • Unclip and remove any power cables connected to the GPU.

  • Release the PCI-e slot tabs that hold the GPU in place.

  • You may have to unlock it to release the card.

Verwijder de oude grafische kaart

Schakel de pc uit en koppel de stroomkabel los van de toren.

Open het zijpaneel van de pc.

Sommige panelen hebben clips die gemakkelijk los te maken zijn, terwijl andere schroeven hebben die losgedraaid moeten worden. Alleen het paneel dat toegang geeft tot de componenten hoeft verwijderd te worden.

Verwijder de schroef/schroeven waarmee de grafische kaart in de sleuf is bevestigd.

Maak alle stroomkabels los die op de GPU zijn aangesloten.

Maak de lipjes van de PCI-e-sleuf los die de GPU op zijn plaats houden.

Het kan zijn dat je het slot moet ontgrendelen om de kaart te kunnen verwijderen.
