Install the new graphics card

  • Place the card in the slot, and press down gently until it locks into place.

  • Ensure it’s fitted into the slot correctly and that both sides sit flush. When it’s locked in correctly, the tab on the slot should hold it in place.

  • Secure the new GPU to the slot with the screw(s) that was removed earlier.

  • Reconnect the power cables to the graphics card and power supply.

  • Startup the PC.

  • When the PC starts up for the first time after installing a new graphics card, it will search for the drivers.

  • It’s always worth using the latest drivers to ensure the best functionality and compatibility with the latest games.

  • Once the new GPU is working, it’s advisable to remove any redundant drivers and software used for the old graphics card.

Installer la nouvelle carte graphique

Placez la carte dans la fente et appuyez doucement jusqu'à ce qu'elle s'enclenche.

Assurez-vous qu'il est correctement inséré dans la fente et que les deux côtés sont alignés. Lorsqu'il est correctement verrouillé, la languette de la fente doit le maintenir en place.

Fixez le nouveau GPU dans l'emplacement à l'aide de la ou des vis retirées précédemment.

Rebranchez les câbles d'alimentation à la carte graphique et au bloc d'alimentation.

Démarrer le PC.

Lorsque l'ordinateur démarre pour la première fois après l'installation d'une nouvelle carte graphique, il recherche les pilotes.

Il est toujours utile d'utiliser les pilotes les plus récents pour garantir une fonctionnalité et une compatibilité optimales avec les jeux les plus récents.

Une fois que le nouveau GPU fonctionne, il est conseillé de supprimer tous les pilotes et logiciels redondants utilisés pour l'ancienne carte graphique.
