Insert a plastic card

  • If you can't manage to remove the battery by only using high concentration isopropyl alcohol, you can try a combination with heat. In this case, prepare an iOpener and apply it to the rear glass for at least two minutes to loosen the adhesive underneath the battery.

  • Insert a plastic card underneath the top right corner of the battery.

  • Slide the plastic card underneath the top edge of the battery to slice its adhesive and pry it up.

Als het je niet lukt de batterij met enkel isopropylalcohol te verwijderen, kun je een combinatie met hitte en alcohol proberen. Verwarm in dat geval een iOpener en leg deze gedurende minimaal twee minuten op de glazen achterkant om de lijm onder de batterij te verzwakken.

Steek een plastic kaart onder de rechter bovenhoek van de batterij.

Schuif je plastic kaart onder de bovenkant van de batterij om de lijm eronder door te snijden en de batterij omhoog te wrikken.
