Apply high concentration isopropyl alcohol

  • There's only adhesive underneath the top and bottom areas of the battery and not underneath the center. The see-through plastic strip around the center of the battery is not especially useful during the removal procedure. Feel free to remove it for easier handling by opening its adhesive seal and pulling it out from underneath the battery.

  • Bring your phone assembly to an ~45° angle.

  • This helps to spread the isopropyl alcohol evenly in the following step. You can hold the phone in one hand and apply the alcohol with the other or secure your suction handle to the rear glass and use its handle as a stand for your phone.

  • Apply a few drops of high concentration (over 90%) isopropyl alcohol into the gap between the motherboard and the top left and bottom left corner of the battery.

Breng wat isopropylalcohol aan

Er bevindt zich alleen lijm onder de onder- en bovenkant van de batterij, niet in het midden. De doorzichtige plastic strip rondom het midden van de batterij zit dan ook wat in de weg. Voel je vrij de strip te verwijderen door de gelijmde delen uit elkaar te trekken en de strip onder de batterij vandaan te trekken.

Leg je telefoon in een hoek van ongeveer 45 graden op een object (zie afbeelding).

Dit helpt bij het evenredig verspreiden van de isopropylalcohol in de volgende stap. Je kunt je telefoon vasthouden of een zuignap op de achterkant bevestigen zodat je telefoon daarop kan rusten.

Dien wat druppels isopropylalcohol met hoge concentratie (>90%) toe in de opening tussen het moederbord en de linker boven- en onderkant van de batterij.
