Apply high concentration isopropyl alcohol

  • There's only adhesive underneath the top and bottom areas of the battery and not underneath the center. The see-through plastic strip around the center of the battery is not especially useful during the removal procedure. Feel free to remove it for easier handling by opening its adhesive seal and pulling it out from underneath the battery.

  • Bring your phone assembly to an ~45° angle.

  • This helps to spread the isopropyl alcohol evenly in the following step. You can hold the phone in one hand and apply the alcohol with the other or secure your suction handle to the rear glass and use its handle as a stand for your phone.

  • Apply a few drops of high concentration (over 90%) isopropyl alcohol into the gap between the motherboard and the top left and bottom left corner of the battery.

Appliquer de l'alcool isopropylique à haute concentration

Il y a de l'adhésif en haut et en bas de la batterie mais pas au milieu. La bande en plastique transparent autour de la partie centrale de la batterie n'est pas particulièrement utile lors de la procédure de retrait. N'hésitez pas à l'enlever pour plus de facilité, en décollant son joint adhésif et en la retirant d'en dessous de la batterie.

Inclinez votre téléphone à un angle d'environ 45°.

Ceci permet de répartir l'alcool isoropylique uniformément à l'étape suivante. Vous pouvez tenir votre téléphone d'une main et appliquer l'alcool avec l'autre, ou bien accrocher votre ventouse à la vitre arrière et utiliser sa poignée comme support pour votre téléphone.

Appliquez quelques gouttes d'alcool isoropylique à haute concentration (> 90°) dans l'interstice entre la carte mère et les coins supérieur gauche et inférieur gauche de la batterie.
