Screen adhesive information

  • If you are going to replace the screen adhesive, follow these steps:

  • Apply a few drops of high-concentration (90% or higher) isopropyl alcohol to the adhesive.

  • Use a cotton swab or the flat end of a spudger to scrape away the adhesive.

  • Use a lint-free cloth or coffee filter to wipe away any remaining adhesive.

  • Allow the surface to dry completely before applying replacement adhesive.

  • Apply new adhesive strips or pre-cut adhesive to the frame where the old screen adhesive was located.

Informatie over de lijm onder het scherm

Als je de lijm rondom het scherm wilt vervangen, volg je de volgende stappen:

Breng een aantal druppels hoog geconcentreerde isopropyl alcohol (>90%) rondom de lijm aan.

Gebruik een katoenen doekje of het platte einde van een spudger om de lijm weg te schrapen.

Gebruik een pluisvrije doek of een koffiefilter om verdere lijmresten weg te vegen.

Laat het oppervlak volledig drogen voordat je de nieuwe lijm of kleefstrips aanbrengt.

Breng nieuwe kleefstrips of op maat gesneden stukken tape aan op de plekken in het frame waar de oude lijm zich bevond.
