Remove the old battery

  • Ensure that the battery cable is disconnected from the system board.

  • Remove the four screws (M2x2) that secure the battery to the palm-rest assembly

  • Remove the screw (M1.6x4) that secures the battery to the palm-rest assembly.

  • Lift the battery off the palm-rest assembly.

  • Turn the computer over, open the display, and press the power button for about 5 seconds to ground the computer.

Retira la batería vieja

Asegúrate que el cable de la batería esta desconectado de la tarjeta del sistema.

Retira los cuatro tornillos (M2x2) que aseguran la batería al conjunto del reposa manos.

Retira los tornillos (M1.6x4) que asegura la batería al conjunto del reposa manos.

Levanta la batería del conjunto del reposa manos.

Voltea la computadora, abre el display, y presiona el botón de encendido cerca de 5 segundos para conectar a tierra la computadora.
