Removing the base cover

  • Remove the eight screws (M2x3, Torx) that secure the base cover to the palm-rest assembly

  • With the computer face-down, open the computer at an angle.

  • Using a plastic scribe, pry the base cover from the palm-rest assembly, starting at the front left and right corners.

  • Moving the base cover from left to right, release the clips securing the base cover to the palm-rest assembly.

  • Lift the base cover from the palm-rest assembly.

Retira la cubierta de la base

Retira los ocho tornillos (M2x3, Torx) que aseguran la cubierta de la base al conjunto del reposa manos.

Con la computadora mirando hacia abajo, abre la computadora en un ángulo.

Usando una púa plástica, haz palanca en la cubierta de la base del conjunto del reposa manos, empezando en las esquinas derecha e izquierda.

Mueve la cubierta de la base de izquierda a derecha, libera los clips que aseguran la cubierta de la base del conjunto del reposa manos.

Levanta la cubierta de la base del conjunto del reposa manos.
