Remove the pull-tabs

  • Grab the first pull-tab with a pair of tweezers or your fingers and slowly pull it away from the battery and towards the bottom edge of your phone.

  • Pull hard enough to maintain tension on the strip, but don't force it. Give it plenty of time to stretch and un-stick from under the battery.

  • Don't press down on the battery. Hold the phone firmly by its sides.

  • Keep the strip flat and unwrinkled. Try to pull evenly on the whole strip, rather than pulling mainly in the middle or on one side.

  • Pull at a low angle so the strip doesn't snag on the edge of the battery.

  • If the adhesive strip breaks off, try to retrieve it using your fingers or blunt tweezers, and continue pulling—but do not pry under the battery.

  • If the adhesive breaks off underneath the battery and can't be retrieved, continue with the next step.

Verwijder de treklipjes

Pak de eerste treklip met een pincet of je vingers vast en trek deze langzaam richting de onderkant van de telefoon en van de batterij weg.

Trek hard genoeg om een constante spanning op de strip te houden, maar voorkom dat je te hard trekt. Geef de strip genoeg tijd om uit te rekken en onder de batterij vandaan te komen.

Zet geen druk op de batterij. Houd je telefoon in plaats daarvan stevig aan de zijkanten vast.

Houd de strip zo vlak en ongekreukt als mogelijk. Probeer de druk die op de strip komt te staan ook evenredig te verdelen en voorkom dat je dus aan een kant of enkel in het midden trekt.

Trek de strip in een zo klein mogelijke hoek weg, zodat de strip niet op de zijkant van de batterij breekt of scheurt.

Als de kleefstrip alsnog afbreekt, probeer je deze opnieuw vast te pakken met je vingers of met een pincet, om vervolgens verder te gaan met trekken. Wrik echter nooit onder de batterij.

Als de kleefstrip onder de batterij afbreekt en niet opnieuw kan worden vastgepakt, ga je verder met de volgende stap.
