Remove the battery

  • Grab both pull–tab ends labelled with an A and pull up on the orange adhesive strip to lift the battery out of its recess and swing it up to an upright position.

  • Although these adhesive tabs are supposed to make the battery removal easier, they may require some force. In case you're having trouble removing the battery, you can apply a heated iOpener to the center of the display to loosen the adhesive underneath.

  • Peel the battery off the remaining adhesive.

  • Remove the battery.

  • During reassembly, temporarily reconnect the battery to the motherboard to help align it correctly. Disconnect the battery after it is seated.

  • In case you're replacing the adhesive sticker with a new one, peel the battery's adhesive sticker off the midframe and clean the relevant areas with isopropyl alcohol (>90%). Let the alcohol dry before installing new adhesive.

Retirer la batterie

Saisissez les deux bout de la languette A et tirez la bande adhésive orange vers le haut, pour soulever la batterie hors de son compartiment et pour la mettre en position verticale.

Ces languettes adhésives sont sensées faciliter le retrait de la batterie, toutefois ceci nécessite éventuellement une certaine force. Si vous avez du mal à retirer la batterie, posez un iOpener chauffé au centre de l'écran pour ramollir l'adhésif en dessous.

Décollez la batterie de l'adhésif restant.

Ôtez la batterie.

Ne réutilisez jamais une batterie endommagée ou déformée, c'est très dangereux.

Si vous remplacez la bande adhésive par une nouvelle, décollez la bande adhésive de la batterie du châssis central et nettoyez la zone d'adhérence avec de l'alcool isopropylique (>90 %). Laissez bien sécher avant de poser le nouvel adhésif.
