Remove the battery

  • Grab both pull–tab ends labelled with an A and pull up on the orange adhesive strip to lift the battery out of its recess and swing it up to an upright position.

  • Although these adhesive tabs are supposed to make the battery removal easier, they may require some force. In case you're having trouble removing the battery, you can apply a heated iOpener to the center of the display to loosen the adhesive underneath.

  • Peel the battery off the remaining adhesive.

  • Remove the battery.

  • During reassembly, temporarily reconnect the battery to the motherboard to help align it correctly. Disconnect the battery after it is seated.

  • In case you're replacing the adhesive sticker with a new one, peel the battery's adhesive sticker off the midframe and clean the relevant areas with isopropyl alcohol (>90%). Let the alcohol dry before installing new adhesive.

Quita la batería

Agarra ambos extremos de las lengüetas etiquetados con una A y tira hacia arriba de la tira adhesiva naranja para sacar la batería de su hueco y girarla hasta colocarla en posición vertical.

Aunque se supone que estas pestañas adhesivas facilitan la extracción de la batería, es posible que se requiera algo de fuerza. En caso de que tengas problemas para quitar la batería, puedes aplicar un iOpener calentado en el centro de la pantalla para aflojar el adhesivo que se encuentra debajo.

Quita el adhesivo restante de la batería.

Quita la batería.

Durante el reensamblaje, vuelve a conectar temporalmente la batería a la placa base para ayudar a alinearla correctamente. Desconecta la batería después de que esté asentada.

En caso de que vayas a reemplazar la etiqueta adhesiva por una nueva, quita la etiqueta adhesiva de la batería del marco medio y limpia las áreas relevantes con alcohol isopropílico (>90 %). Deja que el alcohol se seque antes de instalar adhesivo nuevo.
