Remove the display

Unclip the three (3) clips at the top of the display.
While removing the back of the display make sure the two spring-loaded latches are in an intermediate position to allow the back half of the display to be pulled removed.
With the back of the display off, remove the two connectors to the display's PCB.
You can now remove the display from the base of the computer.
If you're doing a complete teardown, you can remove the LCD assembly from the front display housing by removing the two screws and copper bracers at the top. The display will be guled so with the final screws removed you'll need to carefully peel the LCD assembly away from the front housing.
