Disconnect USB-C cable from board

  • With the retention ring off, you can advance the cable moulding into the housing, and the entire camera subframe assembly should freely disengage from the outer shell.

  • The cable's connection to the board is two-fold: unscrew the single grounding cable, then disengage the white plug by squeezing the wide surfaces with your thumb and forefinger then gently pulling outward.

  • The entire cable may then be pulled outward, through the outer housing/shell port where the cable retention clip was fastened. (The white plug can be slightly manipulated to fit through.)

  • The connector is a JST GH 1.25 10-pin. JST is the manufacturer, GH is the series; 1.25 is the pitch, the contacts being 1.25mm apart. (Thanks to comment by Oleg Vin for noting the type.)

  • Fixers replacing the entire cable may choose to solder a new JST GH connector to their new cable before disassembly, reducing the time the camera sits in pieces. (Reuse the original ground wire for the cable sheath/shielding.)

Une fois la bague de retenue retirée, vous pouvez faire avancer le moulage du câble dans le boîtier, et l'ensemble du sous-châssis de la caméra doit se dégager librement de la coque extérieure.

La connexion du câble à la carte est double : dévissez le câble de mise à la terre unique, puis dégagez la prise blanche en pressant les larges surfaces avec votre pouce et votre index, puis en tirant doucement vers l'extérieur.

L'ensemble du câble peut alors être tiré vers l'extérieur, à travers l'orifice extérieur du boîtier/coque où le clip de retenue du câble a été fixé. (Le bouchon blanc peut être légèrement manipulé pour passer à travers.)

Le connecteur est un JST GH 1.25 à 10 broches. JST est le fabricant, GH est la série ; 1,25 est le pas, les contacts étant espacés de 1,25 mm. (Merci au commentaire d'Oleg Vin pour avoir noté le type.)

Les réparateurs remplaçant l'intégralité du câble peuvent choisir de souder un nouveau connecteur JST GH à leur nouveau câble avant le démontage, réduisant ainsi le temps pendant lequel la caméra reste désassemblée. (Réutilisez le fil de terre d'origine pour la gaine/le blindage du câble.)
