  • Be mindful of keeping the lens glass away from abrasives when disassembling. Turn the camera over and use your plastic spudger (pry tool) to pop out the plastic ring obscuring two small screws.

  • NOTE: many fixers may find that replacing only the distal USB-C plug is needed. In that case, you needn't open the camera or replace the cable -- just skip to the wiring explanation in step 4, and get a new USB 3.x type-A or type-C male plug.

Fai attenzione a tenere il vetro dell'obiettivo lontano da abrasivi quando lo smontaggio. Capovolgi la camera e usa il tuo spudger di plastica (attrezzo di leva) per far uscire l'anello di plastica che nasconde due viti.

NOTA: molti riparatori potrebbero scoprire che è necessario sostituire solo la porta USB-C distale. In tal caso, non è necessario aprire la fotocamera o sostituire il cavo: basta passare alla spiegazione del cablaggio nel passaggio 4 e procurarsi una nuova porta USB 3.x tipo A o tipo C maschio.
