  • Let's spot the differences between the 13 Pro (shown left) and 12 Pro (right) shall we? First off: no more display-mounted earpiece speaker! Easier display replacements, but irksome earpiece replacements (more on that later!)

  • And second, a missing cable (one we didn't notice was also missing in the 12 Pro Max as a matter of fact!)

  • Thanks to some expert knowledge from our new friends at Instrumental, we think the iPhones 13 are using "touch-integrated OLED panels", which, like their name suggests, combine the touch and OLED layers of a display—reducing cost, materials, thickness, and the number of cables you can accidentally tear. Neat!

  • The Notch™ is 20 percent narrower on the 13 Pro compared to the 12 Pro, thanks to Face ID's flood illuminator and dot projector merging into a single module! (Also more on that later! Noticing a pattern?)

Sehen wir uns mal die Unterschiede zwischen dem 13 Pro (links) und dem 12 Pro (rechts) an. Zunächst einmal ist der Ohrhörer-Lautsprecher nicht mehr am Display befestigt! Das erleichtert den Austausch des Displays, erschwert aber den Austausch des Ohrhörer-Lautsprechers (mehr dazu später!)

Dann entdecken wir ein fehlendes Kabel (das tatsächlich auch beim 12 Pro Max fehlt, was uns gar nicht aufgefallen war!)

Dank der Expertise unserer neuen Freunde von Instrumental denken wir, dass die iPhones 13 "berührungsintegrierte OLED-Panels" verwenden, die, wie der Name schon sagt, die Touch und die OLED-Schichten des Displays kombinieren und so Kosten, Material, Dicke und die Anzahl der Kabel, die man versehentlich abreißen kann, verringern. Cool!

Der Notch™ ist beim 13 Pro 20 % schmaler als beim 12 Pro, dank der Tatsache, dass der Flood Illuminator (also das Infrarotblitzlicht) der Face ID und der Punktprojektor in einem Modul vereint wurden! (Auch 'dazu mehr später! Erkennt ihr hier ein gewisses Muster?)
