replace the oil filter

  • Attach a filter wrench to the filter and turn counter clockwise. Repeat until the filter can be unscrewed by hand.

  • Place the oil drain pan under the filter, unscrew the oil filter and let the remaining oil drain.

  • Clean the connecting surface.

  • Lubricate the rubber gasket on the new oil filter with some engine oil.

  • Screw the new filter on (hand tight).

  • Using the filter wrench, add 3/4 turn to tighten it.

reemplaza el filtro de aceite

Conecta una llave para filtros al filtro y gírala en el sentido contrario a las agujas del reloj. Repite hasta que el filtro se pueda desenroscar con la mano.

Coloca la bandeja de drenaje de aceite debajo del filtro, desenrosca el filtro de aceite y deja que se escurra el aceite restante.

Limpia la superficie de conexión.

Lubrica la junta de goma del nuevo filtro de aceite con un poco de aceite de motor.

Enrosca el filtro nuevo (apretado con la mano).

Usando la llave para filtros, agrega 3/4 de vuelta para apretarlo.
