drain the engine oil

  • Locate the oil filler cap and rotate left to remove it. This allows air into the top of the system while the oil drains away at the bottom.

  • Place the oil drain pan under the plug.

  • Unbolt the plug with a 14mm wrench and let the oil drain completely.

  • When drained, clean the drain plug and gasket and bolt it back on. Using torque wrench tighten it to:

  • 35 N·m for gasoline engines

  • 20 N·m for diesel engines

drenar el aceite del motor

Localiza el tapón de llenado de aceite y gíralo hacia la izquierda para quitarlo. Esto permite que entre aire en la parte superior del sistema mientras que el aceite se drena en la parte inferior.

Coloza la bandeja de drenaje de aceite debajo del tapón.

Desenrosca el tapón con una llave de 14 mm y deja que el aceite se escurra por completo.

Cuando esté drenado, limpia el tapón de drenaje y la junta y vuelve a atornillarlos. Con una llave dinamométrica, apriétalo hasta:

35 N·m para motores de gasolina

20 N·m para motores diésel
