Loosen the inner adhesive

  • Hold the phone so that the right edge is facing upward.

  • Apply a few drops of high-concentration (90% or higher) isopropyl alcohol in the gap between the right edge of the screen and the frame to weaken the inner adhesive near the fingerprint sensor.

  • Insert the isopropyl alcohol applicator near the top of the inner adhesive area to avoid damaging the fingerprint sensor.

  • You may apply the isopropyl alcohol without inserting the applicator into the phone if needed.

  • Tilt the phone so that the isopropyl alcohol flows toward the inner adhesive.

  • Wait two minutes for the alcohol to weaken the adhesive.

Maak de lijm aan de binnenkant van de telefoon los

Zet de telefoon op de linkerzijkant zodat de rechterzijde omhoog wijst.

Dien een aantal druppels isopropyl alcohol (>90%) in de opening tussen de rechterkant van het scherm en het frame toe om de lijm aan de binnenkant van het toestel, bij de vingerafdruksensor, te verzwakken.

Steek de alcohol-spuit net boven de lijm aan de binnenkant in het toestel om zo te voorkomen dat je de vingerafdruksensor beschadigt.

Je hoeft hiervoor niet per se een spuit te gebruiken. Als je de isopropyl alcohol op voorzichtige wijze zonder de spuit in de telefoon aan kan brengen, is dat ook mogelijk.

Kantel de telefoon zodanig dat de isopropyl alcohol richting de lijm aan de binnenkant loopt.

Wacht twee minuutjes zodat de alcohol de tijd heeft om in te trekken en de lijm te verzwakken.
