DIMM B Connector RAM - Step 1

If you haven't done so, shut down your computer. Disconnect all power sources before opening the computer cover or panels. Remove the battery afterward.
Turn the computer upside-down, loosen the captive screw on the memory module cover (see image), and remove the cover.
