  • We can now remove the fan and main power switch assembly.

  • Remove the small white piece of tape (highlighted in red) that holds the fan cable connected to the fan.

  • Pull the fan cable straight up from its socket on the motherboard.

  • The fan and power switch are now free from the rest of the PlayStation 2.

  • Remove the fan and power switch assembly by pulling it out the bottom case.

Ahora podemos quitar el ventilador y el botón de la fuente de alimentación.

Quita la pequeña pieza de cinta blanca (marcada en en la foto con un cuadro rojo) que mantiene el cable del ventilador conectado al ventilador.

Tira del cable del ventilador hacia arriba para quitarlo de su zócalo en la placa base.

El ventilador y el botón de encender ahora están sueltos del resto de la PlayStation 2.

Quita el ventilador y el botón tirando de ellos y quitándolos de la placa base.
