  • Only mild adhesive secures the battery pack, which we can dig out without using any heat. (Granted, the 90° F / 32° C weather here may have helped).

  • Our little friend is rated at a sober 1.3 Wh (340 mAh @ 3.85 V)—but with a claimed 2-day battery life, maybe Samsung just isn't concerned about winning the smartwatch battery spec war.

  • This puts it behind the original Galaxy Watch (1.81 Wh), and the Huawei Watch GT (1.56 Wh), but still ahead of the 44 mm Apple Watch Series 5 (1.129 Wh).

  • We half expected to find a novel battery design with a metal pouch—but so far, Apple seems to be the only watchmaker experimenting with that.

Der Akku ist nur schwach mit Kleber befestigt, wir können ihn ohne Extrahitze herausholen. (Wobei die 32° draußen sicher geholfen haben.)

Dieser kleine Freund hat schlichte 1,3 Wh (340 mAh bei 3,85 V); soll aber zwei Tage durchhalten. Vielleicht will Samsung einfach nicht beim Akkuwettrüsten der Smartwatches mitmachen.

Damit ist die Watch der originalen Galaxy Watch (1,81 Wh) und der Huawei Watch GT (1,56 Wh) unterlegen, aber immer noch besser als die 44 mm Apple Watch Series 5 (1,129 Wh).

Wir haben fast erwartet, ein neues Akkudesign inklusive Metallhülle zu finden; aber bisher scheint Apple der einzige Uhrmacher zu sein, der damit experimentiert.
