Loosen the hinges (optional)

  • We will want to turn the nut on one end of the hinge.

  • Push the hinge completely open, so it's out of the way.

  • Then take the pliers and turn the last nut slowly counterclockwise (1/6 to 2/6 of a turn should suffice)

  • Do the same with the other hinge

  • If you later notice your hinges are too weak to sustain the lid (or still too tight) just work your way back to this step and tighten/loosen them accordingly.

Afloja las tuercas (opcional)

Queremos girar la tuerca en un extremo de la bisagra.

Presiona la bisagra hasta que se abra completamente para que este fuera del camino.

Después toma los alicates y gira la última tuerca lentamente en sentido antihorario (1/6 o 2/6 de vuelta serán suficientes)

Haz lo mismo con la otra bisagra

Si más tarde notas que las bisagras están muy débiles para sostener la tapa (o muy apretadas) vuelve a este paso y aprieta/afloja las tuercas respectivamente.
