  • Lift the LCD out of the front bezel, minding any cables that may get caught.

  • Replacement Note: there are clear plastic shims attached via adhesive to the sides and bottom of the lcd panel. Be sure to transfer these shims to the replacement panel for optimum fit.

  • Don't forget to transfer the small magnet attached to the right side of the LCD to your new LCD. The absence of this magnet will prevent your MacBook Pro from entering sleep mode.

  • Depending on the model of your laptop, the magnet may be located inside a hole in the front bezel, not the LCD itself. See second picture.

Levanta la pantalla LCD del bisel frontal, teniendo en cuenta los cables que puedan quedar atrapados.

Nota de Reemplazo: hay calzas de plástico transparentes unidas mediante adhesivo a los lados y la parte inferior del panel LCD. Asegúrate de transferir estas calzas al panel de reemplazo para un ajuste óptimo.

No te olvides de transferir el pequeño imán conectado al lado derecho de la pantalla LCD a tu nueva pantalla LCD. La ausencia de este imán evitará que tu MacBook Pro entre en modo de reposo.

Dependiendo del modelo de tu ordenador portátil, el imán puede estar ubicado dentro de un orificio en el marco frontal, no en la pantalla LCD. Ver segunda imagen.
