  • Time to get our first glimpse inside this Professional Maximum iPhone complete with monstrous L-shaped battery—with two battery connectors? Now that's new.

  • There could be a number of reasons for this extra cable to exist, but bilateral charging is certainly one of them.

  • Some testing yielded the following results:

  • The phone will function without the charging-port-end connected (reconnecting it threw a temporary temperature warning for us).

  • While that lower cable is disconnected, the phone will charge via the Lightning port, but not the wireless charging coil.

  • When we disconnected the "main" cable that goes directly to the logic board, the phone shut down as normal and would not boot, even with the other cable connected.

Quelques tests donnent les résultats suivants :

Le téléphone fonctionne quand la nappe côté port de recharge n'est pas connectée (en la reconnectant, nous sommes tombés sur un avertissement de température s'affiche temporairement).

Quand cette nappe inférieure est déconnectée, la recharge via le port Lightning marche, mais pas via la bobine de recharge sans fil.

Quand on déconnecte la nappe "principale" qui est directement reliée à la carte mère, le téléphone s'éteint et ne se rallume plus, même si l'autre nappe est connectée.
