  • Fancy new iPhone, same old opening procedure—with a twist!

  • This year we pull our fixed-bladed P2 driver from the new iPhone-specific Marlin set to free a pair of pentalobes.

  • Then the iSclack and an opening pick move in to handle the rest, and we can start to lift the display.

  • Despite being Apple's "most water-resistant iPhone ever", the adhesive around the display feels similar to last year's phones. So too the pentalobe-based gasketing of yore.

Nous décidons cette année de libérer les Pentalobes à l'aide du tournevis P2 à lame fixe de notre set Marlin spécial iPhone.

L'iSclack et un médiator finissent le travail et nous détachons soulever l'écran.

Bien qu'il s'agisse là de l'iPhone le plus étanche jamais conçu par Apple, l'adhésif qui fixe l'écran n'est pas plus coriace que les dernières années. De même pour nos vieilles amies, les vis Pentalobe.
