  • Remember to put on your safety glasses if you have not already. Glass, and shattered glass especially, can be dangerous if proper eye protection is not worn.

  • Briefly run the heat gun on a low setting around the outside edge of the screen to warm up the adhesive keeping the phone in place.

  • Keep heat gun on a low setting, and keep the point you are heating moving. Do not hold the heat gun in one spot for long.

  • Work an iFixit opening tool under the lip of the screen and pry upwards carefully.

  • Once you are able to work the screen up around the edge of the device, pull the ribbon cable out of the phone through the thin slot at the bottom of the phone.

N'oubliez pas de mettre vos lunettes de sécurité si ce n'est pas déjà fait. Le verre, et le verre brisé en particulier, peuvent être dangereux si une protection oculaire appropriée n'est pas portée.

Exécutez brièvement le pistolet thermique sur un réglage bas autour du bord extérieur de l'écran pour réchauffer l'adhésif qui maintient le téléphone en place.

Gardez le pistolet thermique à un réglage bas et maintenez le point que vous chauffez en mouvement. Ne maintenez pas le pistolet thermique au même endroit pendant longtemps.

Placez un outil d'ouverture iFixit sous le rebord de l'écran et soulevez soigneusement vers le haut.

Une fois que vous êtes en mesure de déplacer l'écran autour du bord de l'appareil, tirez le câble plat du téléphone à travers la fente mince au bas du téléphone.
