Before touching any parts, make sure your Jeep Wrangler is off for at least thirty minutes to prevent any burns.
Locate the oil cap on the top side of the engine (indicated in red in the image). To remove the cap, twist hard in a counter-clockwise motion.
Store the cap in a safe place to prevent losing it.
