  • If the broken glass makes it difficult to get a suction cup to stick in the next few steps, try folding a strong piece of tape (such as duct tape) into a handle and lifting the display with that.

  • Use a suction cup to lift the upper end of the display until you can insert the tip of an opening pick.

  • Only insert the tip of the opening to not damage any components beneath the display.

  • Slide the opening pick around all sides of the phone to cut the adhesive.

  • Leave an opening pick in each corner of the phone to prevent the adhesive from resealing.

  • Don't lift up the display straight away after you cut the adhesive on all sides. The two display cables are still threaded through the mid frame of the phone.

Se la frattura del vetro rende difficile far aderire bene una ventosa, per affrontare i prossimi passi prova a piegare a forma di maniglia un pezzo di nastro adesivo tenace (come il nastro americano) e usalo per sollevare il display.

Usa una ventosa per sollevare il bordo superiore del display finché non riesci a inserire la punta di un plettro di apertura.

Inserisci sulla punta dello strumento di apertura per non danneggiare i componenti disposti sotto il display.

Fai scorrere il plettro di apertura su tutti i lati del telefono per tagliare l'adesivo.

Lascia un plettro di apertura in ogni angolo del telefono per impedire che l'adesivo si riattacchi.

Non sollevare direttamente il display dopo che hai tagliato l'adesivo lungo tutti i lati. Ci sono ancora i due cavi del display che passano attraverso il telaio centrale del telefono.
