  • The battery is strongly glued into place.

  • Peel up the black pull tab at the top edge of the battery, and slowly pull it away from the battery at about a 45-degree angle to release the command strips (a.k.a. stretch-release adhesive) underneath.

  • If the command strips break or the black pull tab is missing, you can still remove the battery using heat and/or isopropyl alcohol to weaken the adhesive.

  • Apply some high concentration (>90%) isopropyl alcohol under each corner of the battery and allow it to penetrate for several minutes to help weaken the adhesive.

  • Alternatively, apply a freshly heated iOpener to the back of the phone directly behind the battery for two minutes to help soften the adhesive. Re-heat and reapply the iOpener as necessary.

La batterie est fortement collée en place.

Décollez la languette noire sur le bord supérieur de la batterie et retirez-la lentement de la batterie dans un angle d'environ 45° pour relâcher les bandes adhésives élastiques en dessous.

Si les bandes adhésives élastiques se déchirent ou s'il n'y a pas de languette noire, vous pouvez quand même enlever la batterie en utilisant de la chaleur et/ou de l'alcool isopropylique pour ramollir la colle.

Appliquez un peu d'alcool isopropylique hautement concentré (>90°) sous chaque coin de la batterie et laissez-le pénétrer pendant plusieurs minutes pour ramollir la colle.

Sinon vous pouvez posez un iOpener chauffé sur le dos du téléphone directement derrière la batterie pendant deux minutes pour ramollir la colle. Réchauffez et remettez le iOpener si nécessaire.
