Does your MacBook have a T2 security chip?

  • These MacBooks have a T2 security chip:

  • MacBook Air introduced in 2018 or later

  • MacBook Pro introduced in 2018 or later

  • If it has a T2 chip you can reset the SMC as follows (if not, skip this step):

  • Hold the "Control" and "Option" (Alt) on the left side of your keyboard and the "Shift" on the right side of your keyboard for 7 seconds.

  • Then additionally press and hold the power button and keep holding all four keys for another 7 seconds, then release them.

  • Press the power button after few seconds to turn on your MacBook.

Hat dein MacBook einen T2 Security Chip?

Folgende MacBooks verfügen über einen T2 Security Chip:

MacBook Air von 2018 oder später

MacBook Pro von 2018 oder später

Wenn es über einen T2 Chip verfügt, kannst du den SMC wie folgt zurücksetzen (wenn nicht, dann überspringe diesen Schritt):

Halte 7 Sekunden lang die "Control" und die "Option" (Alt) Taste auf der linken Seite deiner Tastatur und die "Shift" Taste auf der rechten Seite deiner Tastatur.

Drücke und halte dann zusätzlich die EInschalttaste und halte alle vier Tasten weitere 7 Sekunden lang und lasse sie dann alle los.

Drücke nach ein paar Sekunden auf die Einschalttaste, um dein MacBook einzuschalten.
