  • Locate the area with a switch on the bottom half of the calculator. Make the sure the switch is on the left side of the switch area, which indicates that it is locked.

  • Slide the switch until it moves from the left side of the button area all the way to the right side.

  • Make sure to hear a click once you move the switch all the way to the right, which indicates the keypad is now removable.
