  • Unlike Samsung, Huawei has opted to notch their display around its camera and earpiece speaker.

  • That said, the P20 Pro seems a little lukewarm on the notch front—the EMUI offers its user the option to ''hide'' the notch.

  • The notch isn't the only thing Huawei borrowed from Apple, it sports an iPhone X-style 1.4 mm mesa with two cameras and a more modest iPhone 6-style "button" for the monochrome sensor.

Anders als Samsung hat sich Huawei für einen "Notch" im Display um die Kamera und die Höhrmuschel entschieden.

Diesbezüglich scheint das P20 Pro nicht wirklich Partei ergreifen zu wollen. Das EMUI bietet seinen Usern die Möglichkeit den schwarzen Balken an der Oberseite zu verstecken.

Nicht nur beim schwarzen Notch im Bildschirm hat sich Huawei von Apple inspirieren lassen. Ähnlich dem iPhone X hat das P20 Pro eine 1,4 mm weit abstehende "Beule" mit dem einen Kamerapaar, während die monochrome Kamera eher unscheinbar mit einem iPhone 6-ähnlichen "Knopf" daher kommt.
