Disassemble the controller (Part 2)

  • Author's note: I have no intention of retaking these photos as I do not have my 1697 anymore (and avoid them when possible). I can do this with one hand, but using a pry tool in the area marked in orange makes this easier.

  • With the screws removed from the back, flip the controller to the front. Remove the front plastic cover.

  • With the front plastic cover removed, remove the back shell. A plastic pry tool can be used if it is easier.

  • Remove the shell once the battery tabs are released.

Desmontar el controlador (Parte 2)

Nota del autor: no tengo intención de volver a tomar estas fotos ya que ya no tengo mi 1697 (y evítalas cuando sea posible). Puedo hacer esto con una mano, pero usar una herramienta de palanca en el área marcada en naranja lo hace más fácil.

Con los tornillos retirados de la parte posterior, voltea el controlador hacia el frente. Retira la cubierta de plástico frontal.

Con la cubierta de plástico delantera quitada, retira la carcasa trasera. Se puede usar una herramienta de palanca de plástico si es más fácil.

Retira la carcasa una vez que se suelten las pestañas de la batería.
