Access the BIOS or OTBM (One Time Boot Menu)

  • If you choose to make Linux the only operating system you use, make a backup. You will lose all of your data if you do not multiboot your system!

  • The HP BIOS (F.0F) is from 2004. It is out of date due to a lack of working DOS update mechanism. There may be variations in more current revisions.

  • Reboot your computer and access the BIOS. To do this, press F2 , DEL or F12 (Dell and many others). This will let you change the boot order or access the one-time boot menu to boot the machine from the USB drive.

  • Select your USB drive, or temporarily change the boot order.

Si vous choisissez de faire de Linux le seul système d'exploitation que vous utilisez, faites une sauvegarde. Vous perdrez toutes vos données si vous ne multibootez pas votre système !

Le BIOS HP (F.0F) date de 2004. Il est obsolète en raison d'un manque de mécanisme de mise à jour DOS fonctionnel. Il peut y avoir des variations dans les révisions plus récentes.

Redémarrez votre ordinateur et accédez au BIOS. Pour ce faire, appuyez sur F2 ou SUPPR. Remarque : Appuyez sur F12 sur les ordinateurs Dell pour accéder au menu de démarrage unique.

Sélectionnez (ou modifiez l'ordre de démarrage) pour démarrer à partir de votre clé USB. Laissez le système démarrer.
